    ​The National Center for Industrial and Mining Information reviews its strategy in the Asharqia Chamber

    An Engineer Ali bin Saleh Al Samaa, CEO of the National Center for Industrial and Mining Information, said that the center stems from its mission that emphasizes supporting industry in the Kingdom by developing transparency of industrial and mining market information to enhance the confidence of investors and decision-makers.

    Al-Sama explained during a meeting organized by the Asharqia Chamber represented by the Industry and Energy Committee, on Tuesday, October 26, 2021, to review the “strategy and services of the National Center for Industrial and Mining Information and to introduce it” and managed by a member of the Chamber’s Board of Directors and Chairman of the Committee Ibrahim bin Muhammad al-sheik that the center is proceeding according to his vision to be a center Reliable industrial and mining knowledge in the Kingdom to enhance the trend towards an integrated and competitive industrial and mining system, noting that the center targets strategic topics looking at self-financial sustainability, creativity, operational efficiency, transparency and integration of the industrial and mining system, and support for decision-makers.

    Al-Sama indicated that to achieve the strategic directions of the center, the center works to provide 6 categories of services, the first of which is indexing and coding services, the second in data and analytics services, the third in innovative digital services, the fourth in the issuance of bulletins and reports, the fifth in providing consultations and feasibility studies, and finally holding activities It aims to spread knowledge.

    Al-Sama indicated that the center is interested in developing policies related to industrial and mining information and the plans and programs necessary to implement them, collecting the necessary data on national products and industrial consumables, developing standards for industrial and mining information technology, and supporting information bases, and developing policies for dissemination and classification of awareness and confidentiality of information on the industrial and mining sector.

    The center is also interested in working on building a database for the national register of industrial products and preparing studies and research on the industrial and mining sector.​​
